As you know, Vietnam is the second country in the world export coffee just after Brazil. Coffee is planted in the high land center of Vietnam exactly in Lam Dong province, there are two kinds of coffee in Vietnam which are famous once, that are Robusta and Arabica. the percentage of Robusta coffee is plant compose 60% area and 40% is Arabica. Vietnam is home land of coffee and the Vietnamese love to drink coffee at every time in a day.
If you are in Hanoi, waking up from very early in the morning around 5.00 am then walk to the any park in Hanoi or lakes you can see thousand of people are doing excise to warm them up and prepare energy for new day. After that you should come to the coffee street such as Trieu Viet Vuong or Nguyen Huu Huan very near the Hoan Kiem lake - the center of Hanoi and old town. At here, you can see a lot of young people are siting and enjoy coffee on the very low plastic chair, so do you! if you are here just like me come and sit down on the low chair which set in front of the coffee shop, then order a cup of coffee.
The Hanoi people drink coffee by the season, if the whether is cold they drink hot coffee, and if it is hot they drink cold coffee(with ices) and they usually drink coffee with condensed milk and coffee is very strong. So if you come a coffee shop in Hanoi to drink coffee base on the whether on that day you order cold or hot coffee. There are 4 kinds of popular coffee in Hanoi:
- Condensed milk coffee with ices - Brown coffee with ices - Nâu Đá
- Condensed milk hot coffee. - Brown hot coffee - Nâu Nóng
- Coffee with ices and sugar. - Black coffee with ices - Đen Đá
- Hot coffee with sugar. - Black coffee - Đen Nóng.
